A quiet corner on the第四 Street where the pours are deliberate, the cocktails are made to order, and you're never rushed out the door.
Bar Vin started as a conversation between friends who believed that the best wine experiences don't need white tablecloths or sommelier certification. They needed honest bottles, a room that feels like someone's living room, and a bartender who knows the difference between a Pinot Noir from Burgundy and one from the Willamette Valley.
We opened our doors on Fourth Street in Hermann — a town built by German immigrants who knew something about viticulture — and we've been pouring carefully selected wines, house-made cocktails, and simple plates ever since.
Rotating selections from small producers across France, Italy, Germany, and the Pacific Northwest. We change the list monthly to reflect what's fresh and interesting.
Every cocktail is shaken or stirred to order. Our spirit-forward menu features house-infused bitters, fresh juices, and syrups made from local honey and seasonal fruit.
Charcuterie boards, seasonal bruschetta, and a rotating selection of warm small plates designed to pair with the wine — not compete with it.
We source from Missouri vineyards and the Missouri Booze Trail whenever possible. Our menu shifts with the seasons — what's ripe and what's right for the weather.
Rotating selection of Missouri and European cheeses, cured meats, house pickles, and toasted bread. Serves two.
Grilled sourdough topped with whatever is ripe that week — heirloom tomato and basil in summer, roasted beet and goat cheese in winter.
A rotating selection of hot small plates — think braised short rib crostini, mushroom arancini, or spicy lentil soup. Ask your server.
